I am a data-centric leader who has substantial experience in creating and managing solid solutions, repeatable product, and passionate teams for business-value-focussed delivery. In my 30+ years’ experience I have had direct involvement, from the ground up, in major customer-focussed B2C and B2B solutions and data/analytic products across the UK, Europe, US, Australia, and the wider APAC region.My core interest is in the leveraging of data to effect positive business change; especially where it adds value to the consumer experience - to help organisations mature from product-orientation, through voice of customer, to a two-way conversation. I continue to be surprised and excited by the way that data and analytics can provide deep insights on peoples' behaviour (vs what they say they do). With the emergence of cognitive tools and AI, I think this is only the beginning, and I want to be part of it.I believe that anyone who works in data today has a responsibility, to individuals out there, in the secure and ethical use of the (increasing amount of) content that people generate - it should be part of all of our jobs to keep the right side of the 'creepy' line.
