Vehicle & Responsibilities include but not limited to: Thoroughly inspecting and assessing vehicles for damage and faults and logging all relevant information into Excel spreadsheet as well as Enterprise systems. Assigning vehicles to on-site vendors such as National Tyres, Nationwide Body repairs, Motorglass Windscreen & DRW. Severely damaged vehicles would be booked with body repair shops and all warranty and mechanical work allocated to main dealerships. Liaising with on-site vendors and building relations in order to achieve a successful work-flow. Booking premium vehicles with main dealerships for service due to the high value of the asset. Visiting dealerships and building company relations with regard to consistent vehicle bookings and services, on behalf of Enterprise. Making enquiry calls daily on behalf of senior manager for various existing vehicles under repair in body shops and dealerships around the UK. Managing Assured drivers to carry out all necessary driving duties and constantly communicating with the main rental Heathrow branch throughout the day and keeping them up to date for all rental priorities. Dealing with transporters from and to main rental branch for new vehicles as well as sold assets. Carrying out vehicle audits, visiting rental branch for assessments, managing the entire vehicle repair site in such way that it does not disturb any individual's progress and making sure all vehicles on the system are present and assigned to their designated damage area on-site. Due to the busy nature, on a typical day could mean dealing with 70 to 160+ vehicles demanding multitasking abilities, efficiency, time-management and reliability from the rental department. The essence of my role was to manage and turn around vehicles in such way that they are repaired as quickly as possible and back on the road generating revenue.
