At KPN I am working in the Tooling and Automation department. I am adding new features to the existing applications, automating the release workflow, and trying to improve the quality of the frontend and backend applications.

Helping customers achieve their goals as a Full-stack developer. Mostly using Vue/React and Node/PHP.

Emesa is the e-commerce business part of Talpa; the biggest TV company in the Netherlands. I was hired to rebuild their deal platform, ActieVanDeDag.

Within OOXOO I am responsible for backend development. We build multiple systems from scratch with the newest tech. Here are the projects that I am most proud of: - A lightning-fast cloud-based search engine for jobs. This engine is used in production by a big recruitment agency. We divided the system into multiple Micro Services that communicate via HTTP. The tech used per service differs. The smaller low-traffic services are built with PHP and the Symfony framework. The high traffic service is built in NodeJS with Express. All services are running in the cloud.- An HR quality assurance system that monitors medical health care workers on a daily basis. Reports of changes are sent to a quality manager. This project is built with PHP and the Symfony framework.Within all projects, I practice Test Driven Development and Clean Code practices to ensure code quality and quality of the overall project.

At Anddare I have worked in the Backend Development team. We worked in an agile manner on the development of multiple e-commerce middleware applications in PHP and Symfony. I have successfully helped with improving and refactoring the existing codebases and with steadily adding new features.

My main task at Tim_online was supporting the development of their internal e-commerce startup. I have cooperated with the remote development team to make sure that the client's wishes were well implemented in the system. Other projects I have worked on were improving several small websites and building a voting application for a big live event (500+ people voting within in a few minutes).

Responsible for backend programming in PHP at a big webshop. I steadily added value to both the webshop and the webshop management application. I built a site-wide integrated product review system, a new category management tool, product recommendations in the shopping cart and automated the return requests process. I also integrated successfully several external web services into the existing work processes.
