As a Global Supply Analyst I build and manage strong working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to support the procurement process and promote cost savings. I source and evaluate suppliers for RFP or RFQ processes and eventually facilitate new supplier and vendor onboarding. Once supplier has been awarded, I review, negotiate and support execution of Purchase Orders, Master Service Agreements and Statement of Work.

My task, through the development and implantation of large-scale recruitment events and tours, was to create a campus visit experience to help students, families and friends visualize and eventually commit to joining the Wolf Pack. To make this a possibility, and quite possibly my favorite part, I was responsible for full-cycle recruitment and management of our Welcome Center, Data Entry and Call Center student assistants who helped run the operation.

As an Administrative III in the Office for Prospective Students, I had the pleasure to supervise two Administrative II positions as well as 40 student assistants in daily office operations, task management, attendance and performance. We were the face of the University, making sure prospective and incoming students were given top priority during admissions process. I managed office hiring processes from full-cycle recruitment to onboarding for fulltime faculty, letter of appointment, casual, classified and student employment.

As a support for the Administrative II and III positions, I focused heavily on office task management including but not limited to student assistant scheduling, office training, customer service and clerical tasks.

While empathy and compassion are part of my nature, I learned during this time how to fully commit my mind and body to something much greater than myself. Parenthood has challenged everything I believed to be true and taught me to be superhuman even off of one hour of sleep.
