I manage scheduling for various appointments, procedures, and other company functions, while also administering check-in documents and collecting co-pays and other payments from patients. I verify insurance eligibility, verify pre-certification for procedures, and post any collected payments internally. I also process referrals and medical records. At the end of the day, I balance the cash drawer and handle bank deposits weekly. I am also charged with managing office inventory, distributing incoming mail, and managing a multi-line telephone.
