I am an engineer turned entrepreneur with over 40 years of technology experience and six years of startup experience. I recently retired from my successful career in the machine tools industry and machine tools accessories on November 30, 2023. During this time, I've led teams, navigated setbacks and achievements, and continually improved personally and professionally.My journey has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of building a business, particularly in technology-driven industries. I have transitioned through three major career changes, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges of anxiety, disappointment, and isolation that often accompany such transitions. Despite these obstacles, each venture has been deeply fulfilling, and I'm motivated to share these experiences with budding entrepreneurs, leaders, and managers.As a Life Coach, Executive Coach, and Business Coach, I have had the privilege of working directly with CEOs, startup founders, investors, and VCs across India and Africa. My mission is to guide early-stage startups through the entire startup-building process and make them investable. With my technology and industry background, as well as a global perspective on product development, I help my clients identify the shortest and most effective path from their current capabilities to hidden market opportunities.Since 2017, I have actively supported around 42 startups, partnering with the Stanford Seed Initiative to transform small businesses and enhance lives in developing economies. This role has been a pivotal part of my career, allowing me to impact directly on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Africa.Additionally, I mentor aspiring MBA students and serve as a Professor of Practice at Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat. I engage with platforms such as the “MAARG - Startup India Initiative”, MeitY-Hub, and “PitchHere,” further enriching the startup landscape by nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurial talent.
