I have over 14 years experience in social services and the recovery field. I have worked my way up in my career and have knowledge of every position from driver, support staff, shift lead, case manager, lead counselor, program manager and senior case manager. I know the in's and out's of all these positions and can relate to fellow co workers when in a management position. My passion is to help those that are under served. I am a driven, passionate, dependable and ethical person. I am personable and do well in a one on one or group setting. My dedication to any task I have ensures the most effective outcome. I love to learn and thrive on challenges. I have experience and expertise in intake assessment, establishing medical necessity, pre-certifications for admissions, utilization review, verification of benefits, crisis intervention, group facilitating (Both 12 step and I am SMART certified), case management, treatment planning, one on one counseling, detoxification protocols (COWS, CIWAS), medication observation records, harm reduction and trauma informed care. Proficient with HMIS, VISPADAT's and the homeless management non profit sector. My passion is to serve and guide individuals who are suffering to their true destination of freedom, health and happiness. This can only be achieved by meeting individuals where they are at and walking along side of them rather than standing above them, in front of them or behind them. There is nothing more beautiful to me than witnessing light radiating from someone who at one time lived in complete darkness.
