First and foremost I love to help people. Providing support for someone to reach their goal, whatever it may be, brings me satisfaction and fulfillment. Over the course of my working history I've done this via teen mentoring, mental health counseling, vocational counseling, and casework supervision. In my current role I not only assist my staff in reaching their fullest potential with the clients they serve, but I also help my company to reach its federal goals and standards. I believe in strong work ethic, honest feedback, and productive collaboration towards a common goal. I also believe that a high level of organization, realistic expectations, and intense attention to detail can make or break a project. I find that bringing creative thinking into any task can not only make it more fun, but also can allow those involved to think bigger than they thought they could. When I'm not working I am busy improving my own skills-perfecting a recipe, practicing a new quilting technique, and finally getting that ukulele chord down. My interests are wide and I intend to never stop learning.
