This year marks 35 years in Payroll Industry, all tenure with 3 different Top Fortune 500 companies. Starting out at EDS (Electronic Data Systems) for 5 years as a Sr. Payroll Specialist, 10 years with Brinker International (5 years as Lead Payroll Specialist and created Department Trainer position and 3 years of this 5 as Department Trainer; then served 5 years as Payroll Operations Supervisor, and last but not least, I'm currently serving as the Lead Payroll Operations Supervisor at Southwest Airlines Inc, where I've served in this Leadership role for the past 13+ years. A moment to brag if I may...this group of Payroll Professionals is in my opinion, the BEST, most SWA-some Payroll Department in the biz! :) wink, wink! But seriously, I've been in Payroll a very long time, my only job since I was 19, and I can honestly say, WE, (our Leadership Team) have finally put together our Payroll "DREAM Team" and I could not be more grateful or feel more special and privileged to work alongside this SWA-mazing group of Payroll Professionals day in and day out!! They are my SWA Family!! :)4 years ago, I received Yellow Belt Certification for Lean Sigma and countless certifications and Leadership Development and Training which I may or may not come back here later and update. IT'S ALOT!!!! :)My Payroll "dream" job would be to Lead the SWA Payroll Department as a Managing Director before I retire! :) My non-Payroll "dream" job would probably be to work hard and pour my heart and soul into becoming a well-known and highly respected Leadership Motivational Speaker or Leadership Development Corporate Trainer for a SWA-some, Thriving, Culture-oriented, People-oriented, Customer-oriented company! That is, IF I EVER leave my first LUV, which is Payroll... ALL day Long!!! :) :) :) #PAYROLLROCKS
