Lead Consultant
CurrentAs a Lead Consultant at Excella, I perform development and maintenance of mission-critical applications for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as part of the US Customs and Immigration Services (USCIS) projects. My primary responsibility is the development of the Camino ColdFusion application, where I leverage a full-stack approach to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Using a diverse tech stack that includes ColdFusion, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL Server 2018, AWS (S3, EC2), and Docker, I ensure that our solutions meet the high standards of security and performance required by DHS. Additionally, I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts and QA engineers to ensure project outcomes align with stakeholder expectations.Beyond development, I provide strategic guidance to optimize project workflows and reduce redundancy, leading to greater efficiency across projects. My role extends to ensuring compliance with security protocols and government regulations, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and scalability of existing systems. Overall, my work at Excella combines technical expertise with strong leadership and project management skills to deliver high-impact solutions that support the critical missions of USCIS.
