I have 15 years of RN experience. I have worked busy medical surgical floors where we would start the morning with six patients and by the end of the day have a set of brand new patients as the original six had been discharged home. I worked labor and delivery off and on for five years as well as home health and hospice. I enjoyed cardiac step down but loved seeing patients get better and found that more often than not we were sending them home too early. I went back to school for my Nurse Practitioner and graduated on April 25, 2020. I passed ANCC May 27, 2020 and AANP June 25, 2020. I know I cannot change the world but I do hope that through educating my patient and working with their family, I can help change their life.
