About Misty Mcclain
I am the founder and owner of Little Mindful Yogis. Combining over 16 years of child development with an excited and approachable spirit, I make teaching yoga to all ages fun and fulfilling. I blend my yoga journey and experience as a teacher and mother to all of my instruction.Beyond my instruction, I am responsible for writing the Little Mindful Yogis curriculum and themed lesson plans for all school sessions and classes.I have been teaching kids yoga to greater Atlanta for the past four years. I found my love for kids yoga when applying it in my own preschool classroom. I have a 200 hour yoga certification, 95 hour kids yoga certification from Kidding Around Yoga and a 20 hour children's yoga certification for ADHD/Autism and Differently Abled from Radiant Child Yoga and a 32 hour certification in Trauma Informed Yoga for youth from YogaEd. I bring my experience in dance, cheer and acro yoga, to creative classes that have something for everyone. You can find me teaching at many greater Atlanta schools as well as teaching adult yoga at FORM Yoga in Decatur.
