I've been a mother and homemaker for the majority of my life, but I've also had to quit working to take care of my mom when she was dying from cancer, then when my husband had heart surgery and then died 2yrs later, and most recently I have spent the past year taking care of my father who just recently passed away at the end of November. Some companies understand that you have to put your family first, but that doesn't mean you will still have your position when you are able to return to work.
