Provide direction and oversight of the legal compliance program within the North American region. Keep abreast of the developments in legal compliance risk management and legislative changes, pro-actively determine and implement changes to existing policies and procedures as well as create an awareness of legislative requirements through training and consultation. Ensure that risk mitigating measures are identified and implemented and internal controls are effective in the prevention and detection of risk. Collaborate with management to adopt effective compliance initiatives within the operations and promote an ethical work environment.
