Worked with multiple General Contractors in the Hampton Roads area to create and maintain CPM schedules for use on construction projects including schools, hotels, military barracks, tenant build-outs and various buildings on local military bases. Consulted and assisted in delay claims for local contractors faced with liquidated damages. Set-up and development of collaborative project websites. Trained and consulted administrative personnel for local contractors in construction processes. Oversaw the setup and implementation of project website cameras. Created and implemented websites for clients, from concept & design to backend coding and implementation. Taught Microsoft Software Suite in company's in-house training facility to general public and local companies through scheduled courses and on an as-needed basis.

Oversaw all Government contracts received under the SBA's 8(a) program from start-up to closeout. Successfully implemented/created the following for the company: filing system, corporate processes, P.O. System, company's server, companies subcontract documents, web presence, scheduling as a tool for managing projects, and much more. Acting Project Manager for the North Carolina region on bases such as Pope Air Force Base and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, which includes traveling to North Carolina on a regular basis and running 3 to 4 projects at a time.

Managed 12 projects concurrently. Responsible for project start-up including ordering and collecting required insurance certificates, processing submittals, ordering materials and equipment, negotiating change orders, attending all required meetings and billing.

Responsible for handling up to seven ongoing general construction projects at one time, including all activities that are involved with the projects in an organized fashion. Provided dependable unsupervised support to Project Manager for the majority of everyday tasks. Responsible for and knowledgeable of all company government contracts. Played key role in the bidding process including take-off’s, soliciting bidders, and all other aspects of bidding. Created company forms. When Project Manager quit, I was the acting Project Manager and successfully closed out (4) open projects without complication. Other responsibilities included: Reading Owner contract documents and working up all attachments, Writing and issuing all Subcontract documents to subcontractors, project start-up including ordering and collecting required insurance certificates, processing submittals, organizing preconstruction conferences and ordering bonds, scheduling, all project correspondence, ordering and reading plans and specifications, plotting drawings with AutoCad, Owner and subcontractor change orders, processing and tracking RFI’s and RFP’s, Cost Coding, working with Project Budget, Purchase Orders, all project closeout requirements including O&M’s and Warranties.
