My love for helping others has been the catalyst behind my passion for creating all age enrichment programs and events that focus on the need for community-based diversity and inclusion. For many years, I have been forming collaborative partnerships which has led to providing enriching experiences and growth for the communities I served. I am also passionate about public speaking and have presented numerous trainings regarding LGBTQ+ terminology, gender, stereotypes, and privilege. Organizations I have presented to include Johnson County Park and Recreation District, Johnson County Corrections Department, KCMO School District, CASA of KC and Lawrence, Truman Medical Center, and Oregon and Kansas Recreation & Park Associations. In addition, I have spent a great deal of time creating marketing tools and utilizing social media to connect and engage with patrons. Fun Facts: I'm the lead singer of an eighties dance band called, L'80s Night. I went to Clown College and I go by the name, "Dilly Pickles". I'm a hobbyist photographer and you can see my work in the book, "Keep Your Fork: The Best is Yet To Come". AND... I believe the only doughnut really worth putting in your mouth is a maple bacon bar.
