I am a Dallas, KC, to Tampa-based Master’s level Neuroscientist from UT-Dallas working on my doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology at KCU. I have previous endeavors in commercial acting (SAG-eligible) and a background in business and philanthropy stemming from business management school at Missouri Southern State University. I have experience in anti-aging, MS, TMS, IONM, and Pediatric Social Cognition labs. Currently, my focus is compassion research and compassion/mindfulness cultivation and integration at the corporate and personal levels. This involves bias, removing self-limiting beliefs, self-care, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, environmental compassion, and the neuroscience of compassion. I am the founder of a non-profit called Capacity 2 Care- our platform pledges to spread kindness through compassionate acts of doing. My board members and I organized a way to share unwanted items with those in need. In our start-up, we began placing signs "take what you need" along with our number throughout the city; this could be an object, money, happiness, or simply someone to talk to. We wanted to research what mankind was lacking or considered to be lacking. We have additional projects in place to spread science and basic healthcare information to low-income families and the public education system. We will continue to push the recycling of goods to others and the recycling of trash to create new products. My board members aim for a more compassionate earth for all living creatures.
