The Valassis Houston-Deer Park branch produces direct mail marketing that is distributed weekly to millions of homes across Houston, Louisiana, Austin, and Beaumont markets. I serve as the manager for the Maintenance department and Corporate Spare Parts. I am responsible for an amazing, 7-person team that keeps up the equipment and facilities inside and out. There are always several projects in the works at any given time. I am also responsible for the development and implementation for safety, security, emergency response, and environmental programs at my branch.

Conducted environmental research and monitoring, providing vital information of surface water quality and general ecosystem health to decision-makers across the Greater Houston area, the state, and the country. Participated in 3 of the EPA's National Aquatic Resource Assessments on behalf of the state of Texas.
