Managed and coordinate all payroll, benefits & human resources activities and operations•Interpret company policies and government regulations affective payroll procedures and direct preparation of government and audit reports •Manage payroll for employees at 15 different locations, prepared physical checks and set direct deposits of funds•Timecard audit & approval resolve discrepancies. Calculate PTO, Holiday Paid Sick Leave & other fringe benefits•Manage the processing of all wage attachments, constructed leave pay schedules, garnishments, bonuses, severances, service awards & including tax withholdings, garnishments, and other payroll deductions•Confirmed County/State/Federal tax compliance 401K/Roth, Health Insurance and other deductions were processed and administered appropriately•Create and enforce scalable processes that are consistent to business ethics, process, reviewed, investigated, and corrected errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports minimizing the risks of overpayment•Establish and maintain record keeping systems to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, provide internal controls, and respond to audit inquiries while serves as lead contact for auditors•Review and analyze current benefits, payroll, and tax procedures with the objective of making recommendations regarding mandatory improvements that can be made towards those procedures•Identify and implement ways to streamline financial systems and update outdated processes to improve payroll efficiency; evaluate payroll and timekeeping system for possible upgrade •Manage in-house COBRA. Aided employee’s leave claims and worker’s comp claims, leave and disability, Return to Work program •Conducted open enrollment, business relationship with benefits brokers, carriers and brokers•Experiences in WRAP documents and Benefits Discrimination testing
