As a Senior Product Manager, I developed the Product Management function for Finance, aligning Product Owners and managing dependencies across key initiatives like Finance Modernization, and Platform Enhancement. I facilitated data and communication strategy between Finance and Technologies and coached multiple products and scrum teams of over 50 members. My role involved driving leadership alignment for complex decisions within Finance and Technology and providing Agile/Lean guidance to VPs and Directors. I spearheaded the organization's adoption of SAFe using tools like Rally and Confluence, training teams in Agile methodologies. Additionally, I led the development of a robust Finance data Communication Strategy, leveraging tools like Slack, Tableau, and MS Outlook.A key achievement was delivering a strategic initiative for Finance - Management Reporting, using the newly created Finance Organized Data Layers (FODL) within Cornerstone and Oracle. This provided granular insights to card members and senior leadership at American Express, with robust governance and SOX compliance.
