- Provided 1 to 1 mental health counselling to youth aged 9-18, dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. These include anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, anger, grief and loss, relationship issues.- Conducted mental health assessments and interventions. The therapeutic modality I primarily utilized was CBT. I also integrated other modalities such as IFS and Solution Focused Therapy.- Attended interdisciplinary meetings that focused on how to support students through the use of school and community resources.- Supported group work for students in elementary school.

I assisted an adolescent with developmental disabilities.I assisted with emotion regulation, social skills and provided recreational activities.

- I assisted Indigenous peoples mental, emotional, spiritual and physical journey through sharing circles, cultural teachings, sweat lodges and other land based traditional activities.- I assisted people 1 on 1 with smoking cessation. Practised interviewing, listening, assessing and setting goals with clients and their families. Made referrals to community resources.- Worked with the head of an Indigenous advisory committee to go into schools and provide culturally based activities and teachings to Indigenous as well as non-Indigenous youth.- I assisted the Mental Health and Addictions worker during sharing circles and smudging.- I worked with Elders to ensure the medicine wheel and 7 grandfather teachings guided our programming and activities.- I provided physical activities such as archery and fishing to all ages.- I provided emotional support to homeless populations accessing services such as the breakfast program.
