Sprinkler Design NZ was formed by Mitch out of a pure passion and interest for Fire Sprinklers and Autocad. With an early background in IT as a network engineer. Then in 2004 starting over as a sprinkler fitter, Mitch moved onto a sprinkler fitting apprenticeship gaining Level 3 and 4 fixed fire protection before spending many more years in the industry across all facets of the trade. In more recent years working as a project manager before becoming a contracts manager. During this time Mitch was also a successful estimator and designer. Mitch has also spent time in a technical sales role working for an industry leading worldwide manufacturer of sprinklers, sprinkler valves and fittings gaining exposure to different sprinkler system install methods in many counties, companies and regions.
