About Mitch Croke

Qualified SignwriterAfter completing my Higher School Certificate in 2009 I started a Signwriting Apprenticeship in 2010 at Signs Letters N Lines in Canberra.I studied a Certificate III in Signage at TAFE NSW Illawarra Institute which I completed in 2013.In 2012 I represented Illawarra TAFE at the Worldskills Nationals where I won gold in the Signage category.Following on from this I was awarded a BBM Foundation/ Skilled Futures Scholarship in 2013 where I travelled to the UK and completed a leadership course in Wales and also completed a weeks work experience at Fast Signs in Leeds.In 2013 I was awarded ACT Apprentice of the Year and following on from this I was a finalist in the 2013 Australian Training Awards.In 2014 I was a runner up in the Ern MacDonald Fellowship, which is about providing support to help further the career of young Australians.I am a proud Australian Apprenticeships Ambassador using my career story to help the Government promote skills and trades.I am also a volunteer Judge in the Signage category at Worldskills Australia events.Since 2014 I have been working in professional Motorsport as a Signwriter and Mechanic.
