Mitch is the Business Manger for STRATA's Pocatello, Idaho Office. Mitch has more than 11 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for projects across the mining, transportation, industrial and other market sectors. Mitch's project roles typically include project manager and/or project geotechnical engineer. His experience includes; geologic research; geologic reconnaissance; identification of geologic constraints; geotechnical field exploration; analysis and recommendations for slopes, and embankments, tentative ballast sections, deep and shallow foundations, retaining walls, soil and rock anchors and storm water disposal considerations. Mitch recently completed work on the US-20 Sheep Falls to Island Park Lodge project, consisting of 26 miles of roadway, and is currently working on the US-20 Chester to Ashton project which includes 11 miles of roadway, two interchanges, a new structure over the Fall River, and several canal structures.
