The nature of my degree course has prepared me for this position. It involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills. My first major, which is Sociology, provided me an understanding of how society functions and how to conduct in depth research. I found this subject very interesting and challenging. My second major which is Applied English Language Studies provided me an understanding of the English language and bettered my writing skills. Other subjects that I took include Psychology, Visual Studies, Information Skills, English Studies, Social Anthropology and Basic Xhosa.My professional career assisted me in my work skill. I've done a lot of administrative duties like filing reports, contacting IT professionals and clients. Communication is very important in my current job. I teach and assist clients in the English language, thus giving me extensive knowledge in grammar and creative writing. I regard myself as a reliable, assertive, courteous and patient individual who adapts easily to any circumstances. I have brilliant interpersonal, communication and people skills, and regard myself as a natural people’s person. I am eager to learn and should I be accepted, I shall undertake to utilize my capabilities to the utmost and promote the aim of the company. I will abide to the policies and ethic codes of the company.
