Leading multiple teams responsible for the integration and harmonization of the ETRM systems and associated business processes for the Natural Gas trading, Derivatives and commodity pricing teams following the Cenovus acquisition of Husky. Following on the integration I am now looking at the modernization and simplification of the Refined Products trading and marketing businesses and systems.

I manage Husky’s Information Services (IS) project portfolios for the onshore Upstream, Midstream and Downstream businesses in North America and the Operational Integrity program. I provide stewardship and strategic vision for these portfolios to ensure successful project outcomes and alignment between project teams. This includes long range and resource planning, budgeting and execution oversight. I liaise regularly with senior leadership across the company to align these portfolios with the business strategy as well as provide project and portfolio updates. I ensure technology is available to drive and underpin business improvements. I lead and support the program and project managers throughout the lifecycle of the projects.

As the Information Services (IS) Business Partner for Husky’s Downstream Business Units (US and Canadian Refining and Upgrading, Energy Trading and Refined Products Marketing), I am the strategic liaison to those business units for planning IS initiatives. I offer the business access and insight into IS services, while also providing context, insight and advocacy for the business within IS. I work collaboratively with these business units to develop multi-year strategic plans, manage relationships between IS and the business and ensure IS is positioned to meet the current and future needs of the business.

Working as a senior production engineer, I managed a portfolio of key assets in Southern Saskatchewan developing new and mature plays in the Upper and Lower Shaunavon zones. These plays included primary recovery from new tight oil resource plays utilizing horizontal wells & hydraulic fracturing, mature water floods and Alkali Surfactant Polymer (ASP) Enhanced Oil Recovery floods.I was responsible for the preparation, management and reporting of annual production budgets of 3,600 bbls/d and operating expenses of $25Million. This role included oversight of 15 field operations staff and coordination of multidiscipline technical teams to deliver production, cash flow and operating expenses in line with budgets and forecasts as well as identifying, evaluating and executing value add opportunities.

Managing various projects in conventional oil and gas fields, my role included developing project strategies, cost estimates and design drawings. I was also responsible for procurement decisions/strategies, construction execution, cost control and Health, Safety and Environmental performance on these projects. Projects ranged from simple oil and gas well tie ins to new gathering and injection systems, testing facilities and Alkali-Surfactant-Polymer (ASP) gathering/injection systems.
