My passion has always been to help others, and my experience as a Teacher and Firefighter has allowed me the opportunity to do what I love, while giving back to my community. I am a down to earth, grounded individual who is empathetic and understanding. I have used these traits when dealing with students and colleagues and am working towards obtaining the formal training necessary to counsel others, specifically first-responders in need of trauma therapy.
