As a Logistics Executive I was responsible for finding carriers and negotiating rates, to move freight for our customers across Canada and the U.S. Furthermore, I ensured that everything runs smoothly and on schedule so our customers cargo arrives at destination on time and intact. Additionally, I worked with custom brokers and other agencies to ensure proper crossing at boarders and custom check points. Finally, I am responsible for customer service and satisfaction throughout the transport process.

I decided that I wanted to see some of the world before I started out on my career. I started in Western Canada and over the coarse of a year I visited and lived in 15 countries. I have worked and volunteered for many businesses and charities. This real world experience has become a real asset that I will bring to any employer.

While at ASIG I was responsible for the loading and off-loading of Cargo Jet Canada. I managed custom documents, packing slip and other important documents while working under time restraints.

As an agency associate I work for a company called Canadian Wear Technologies. Working for Canadian Wear Technologies I have completed many international and domestic projects which included: customer needs analysis, creating a database of key distributors, and exploring potential new markets. Furthermore, I collaborated with other associates that gave me first hand experience with companies across the globe. This experience has given me insight into the international trade/business environment.
