  When I joined my current employer as General Manager in 2010 my charge was to implement process change to maximise revenue and margin as well as manage the 40+ staff. I continued in this role adding primarily to the margin prior to splitting the role to focus on new business. Currently I am responsible for all new business development generating additional product infeed for the workshops and maximising revenue for the BER (Beyond Economic Repair) products, typically Laptops and Desktops and more recently Mobile Phones and PC Tablets. The business primarily handles damaged items sent to us by Insured customers whose products have suffered accidental damage. Our process requires us to validate the claim on behalf of the Insurance and Warranty companies and where possible repair the item back to functionality thus saving the insurance company having to replace the item. During my six years I have secured new business worth £5m annually and I am in final contract detailing with a major high street retailer which will secure more than £6m worth of repair business.I am more than familiar with product resale of used/faulty/14 day return/BER stock having personally dealt with both the European and Far Eastern Markets. I have visited China twice to meet existing customers and to source parts for a blue chip client which generated business totalling £2m turnover with a shade over £400k of gross margin within a 12 month period.I have proven myself to be commercially focussed and process driven whilst delivering maximum profits to the business.
