Mitch is a retired U.S. Special Operations Veteran with a TS/SCI clearance. He has experience leading both combat and humanitarian operations in the Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. Mitch is a proficient integrator, adept at guiding teams to tackle complex problems. He has successfully collaborated with technology and industry partners on diverse problem sets across the Department of Defense.Mitch's most notable effort was when he was called upon to lead the rescue of 12 youth soccer players and their coach from a flooded cave in Tham Luang, Thailand. As the operations officer responsible for senior level coordination between military, civilian, and diplomatic entities; he helped develop, coordinate, and implement a rescue plan across cultural and linguistic divides. The Tham Luang Cave Rescue was a resounding success, saving the lives of all 13 trapped individuals. This historic rescue has since been detailed in films by National Geographic, Ron Howard, and Netflix.
