I started out as a laborer for BluRoc in 2018 where I learned the trade in the civil construction industry. I was offered a chance to travel to the mid west region and bring the knowledge of our Forward Operations Crew to the new area. After travelling I landed on a job in Carmichaels, Pennsylvania as foreman. I grew up in a family of law enforcement, both my parents and uncles all did the same thing. That is helping people. I decided in 2020 that was what I wanted to do, I had already finished the part time police academy in the summer of 2018. I started my police career in my home town. After a year and a half I was able to land a full time position in the next town over. My now counterpart called and asked if I was interested in working at BluRoc again. I am lucky enough to work in small towns where part time help is excepted , so I left full time policing and I took the job as a Safety Coordinator for the Western Mass/ Connecticut region. I have been at BluRoc since and rolled into the DOT Specialist position, where I now mange all the companies DOT compliance.
