As a mechanic at Emond Auto General Motors, I acquired a comprehensive skill set that encompasses diagnostic and fault-finding techniques, along with the proficient use of diagnostic tools. My responsibilities ranged from routine tasks like basic oil changes and component replacements to more complex undertakings such as complete engine rebuilds and overhauls. Additionally, I augmented my expertise by completing Level 1 Diesel mechanic training at KATS in February 2017, and I successfully passed over 80 online assessments during this period, further solidifying my knowledge and capabilities in the field.

During my tenure as the 3rd Engineer on M/Y Invictus (215ft), I played a pivotal role in ensuring the vessel's smooth operation through adept fault-finding across multiple systems. This encompassed not only mechanical components but also electrical and hydraulic systems. When confronted with electrical issues, I meticulously traced faults, utilizing my expertise to pinpoint the root cause of malfunctions and swiftly implement effective solutions. Similarly, in addressing mechanical faults, I applied a methodical approach to diagnose issues ranging from minor glitches to more complex mechanical failures. Additionally, my proficiency extended to hydraulic systems, where I demonstrated a keen understanding of hydraulic principles to troubleshoot and rectify any discrepancies, thereby maintaining the yacht's operational efficiency and safety standards. Additionally, my temporary assignment on M/Y Mary Jean in the Bahamas included various tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, and night watch duties. During my solo stint on M/Y Mustang Sally, I managed all maintenance aspects, including inventory control, amidst the yacht's sale.
