I created a user experience team within the ATRIO platform of software products. Growing the team from one member on one application, to several members located in three offices worldwide. I drive the need to create leading edge desktop and mobile applications for the hospitality and travel industry. I lead a team of staff designers by collaborating daily to suggest direction and review wireframes. I work with high level sketching all the way to some detailed digital pixel mockups. Occasionally I direct a supplemental contracting team of UX resources. I am a key member of the corporate management team reporting directly to the CEO. The main focus of my role is to drive user experience excellence. I use research from customer feedback to create an easy to use and modernly designed application. I work with my staff to push the envelope of design, while still being time-boxed to a sprint. I lead the company with monthly creative innovation meetings which foster new ideas. I report to the company on UX practices, research findings, directional design changes, and any challenges that arise with the applications I build.ATRIO runs all aspects of a hotel business such as reservations, revenue reporting, accounting, housekeeping, and guest facing interfaces. By utilizing information gathered from customers and subject matter experts I create wireframes and designs based from user stories in an agile development environment. I work with business analysts and developers to iterate on designs so that we reach the goal of zero training for our end-users. As well as creating new features, I log design styles into our style definition library in order to maintain a consistency with developers and design teams. I conduct user testing with existing and potential customers to validate new features that will be in development. I also work with our sales force to communicate our design process to potential customers and present any mockups that assist in their processes.

Worked within the Google commerce department of product development. Created and launched the Google offers property. Created a new user interface for Google Checkout / Google Wallet. Created detailed design specifications along with visual design elements for the larger development teams. Peer reviewed other commerce applications and provided analytical feedback to improve those applications and their features.

Worked with business partners and developers to design enterprise business CRM applications. Worked directly with business partners to drive products from ideas to end-user deliverables. Gathered user feedback from usability testing. Communicated designs through mockups and interactive prototypes. Worked in an agile development environment with other designers, document writers, usability analysts and developers to validate designs.

Created wireframes and annotated user experience documents for wholesale desktop and mobile financial applications. Reviewed business requirements created by business analysts and stakeholders. Determined the proper information architecture flow, and user interface elements, and tested the usability for each application. Obtained a certificate of brand standard, and worked as part of the larger Wells Fargo user experience team to ensure proper look-and-feel and branding for applications.

Created mobile and social networking applications providing users a way to connect with and experience a host of content from both web and mobile devices. Responsible for the design conception, and oversight of the creative teams design production. Responsible for branding, graphic design, user-centered navigation, usability research and interface design solutions for both web social media and mobile phone applications. Worked directly with marketing on consumer product vision and related creative concepts. Worked as immediate team leader for designers, content marketing, QA, and engineering teams in the US and India.
