Being a natural born creative, choosing a field of study that required logical thinking, did not seem logical at all, but in hindsight, it makes 100% sense as creativity is the foundation of innovative technology. I started my career at a stockbroking firm, contributing to technology that assisted in digital trading on the JSE. Once I had a taste of the financial industry, I placed my focus on payments for several years, assisting in molding the way digital transactions happen today, especially online. I took a step back from payments for 1 year to explore the banking sector as a whole, which gave me great perspective on the technological gaps we had within the industry, ultimately prompting me to get back into payments, co-founding Ozow. In total, I have over 14 years of experience in the financial industry with a large focus placed on payments.
