Strongly committed to timely and efficient movements of product both inbound and outbound, monitoring drop ship locations and vendor shipments, negotiating carrier pricing agreements, conducting bids, etc. to meet the Company’s short- and long-term business plans. Additionally, also responsible for day to day tactical accountability for orders in motion as well as oversight of the transportation ecosystem throughout the company.

Job responsibilities included:- Developing relationships with contacts of all levels within customer portfolios.- Identifying opportunities within accounts to further sell C.H. Robinson's dynamic portfolio of services.- Designing/developing solutions tailored to specific needs of customers to improve/streamline their supply chain and any challenges that may be included.- Preparing pricing for customers, as well as negotiating with carriers to ensure successful proposals.- Identifying issues and utilizing the correct resources/assets to quickly and efficiently resolve those difficulties.- Managing the expectations of customers through account specific metrics.- Create and maintain an account plan/budget annually for each customer to further build relationships and solidify future partnerships.- Designing and maintaining a personal development plan that illustrates future goal and objectives.

Robinson for a variety of customers.- Completing day-to-day transportation needs in cooperation with customer and carriers expectations.- Partnering with Account Management to ensure account processes and SOP's are adhered to.- Continuously learning and applying knowledge of customer workflows, preferences, SOP's, etc. to meet the customers needs and expectations.- Understanding the available tools and resources and how to best leverage each to implement efficiencies.- Providing day-to-day issue resolution.- Ensuring accurate load data to meet customer reporting expectations.- Utilizing CHR systems to execute and maintain a daily reporting routine.- Mentoring and/or developing new talent in the operational role.
