Served as Engineer and Architect for VoIP/IPT and Unified Communications at Safeway. Designed and implemented Fax over IP solution for corporate RightFax upgrade project. Collaborate with architects in other technology domains to create an enterprise architecture that aligns with business initiatives. Served as lead VoIP Architect/Engineer on large scale Unified Communications (UC) project to replace distributed hybrid/key phone/IVR systems at all Safeway retail stores with a new network infrastructure centralized call processing, centralized SIP Trunking and IVR technology in order reduce TCO and provide a business application platform for future UC applications in the Safeway retail environment. Technologies for the project included Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Customer Voice Portal and Cisco Unified Boarder Element and Verizon Business IP Trunking.

Designed, built and maintained corporate network infrastructure from corporate startup including Cisco routing and switching infrastructure, Windows 2003 domain, file and print services, Exchange 2003 email, Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity. Provided multiple levels of customer, internal user and developer support for LiteScape Technologies, Inc. IP Telephony based CTI products. Deployed and trained on LiteScape applications for use by LiteScape/Cisco and Avaya IP Telephony at customer sites worldwide. Served as a member of application development team, providing environment setup including the design and configuration of third party products (Avaya Communications Manager, Cisco Call Manager, Microsoft Live Communications Server 2005 and Office Communicator 2005 client) needed for development and integration of LiteScape products.

Provided first-line installation and support services for design and configuration of Cisco IP telephony (Call Manager, Unity, router gateways and gatekeepers). Provided installation support to field technicians on installation and configuration of Inter-Tel products including support for IP network design and configuration of Inter-Tel IP Networking products and integration into the client’s IP network. Provided design and configuration support for all CTS OAISYS for Axxess installations sold by Networld. Worked with clients to redesign systems for "escalated" accounts. Provided field design, installation and configuration or second tier support for Nortel Networks Norstar, Norstar Voicemail, Norstar ACD products, , Captaris Rightfax and AVT/Captaris Callxpress (including third party PBX integrations). Configured Cisco infrastructure equipment (switches and routers) to support VOIP traffic. Installed and configured Polycom Video Conferencing (ISDN PRI and BRI) and H.323 over IP.
