Responsible for Instillations, product development, break-fix, and product support for Zip Pak’s Engineering and Development Group.Also responsible for field service support of our consumer product portfolio of over 300 re-closable packaging features found in commercial packages.90% Travel mostly across North America with frequent travel for electromechanical and technical support worldwide.

Duties required 70-90% primary travel throughout the expanded south region of 10 Southern States in the US and Caribbean (but not limited to). Carried out machine installations, field training, electromechanical repairs / retrofits, maintenance inspections, performance auditing and reporting (machine and operator), and equipment moves. Wrote and maintained product specific curriculum for in-house and field training. Worked over 50 trade shows installing equipment, demonstrating / assisting sales, machine and exhibit dismantle and load out. Experienced in Pneumatics troubleshooting and repair as well as electrical and mechanical. Have expertise in Print technical Issues and solutions, materials handling, consumables testing / rating, and professional print training. Have a strong understanding of color management, registration issues, printing chemistry (waterless / UV / conventional). Dealt with chilling systems, air systems, lamp / air drying systems, spray powder systems, and other machine peripherals. Perform and teach regular maintenance as well as assist w/ creating maintenance programs for in-house maintenance departments and operators. Carried out extensive technical reporting. Job required reporting for installs, warranty claims, travel / expenses, company car maintenance / mileage reporting. Completed sales training and supported the field sale and lead reporting of new capital equipment/ used equipment / Peripherals /consumables / service (and consumables) contracts / and spare parts. Maintained an extensive car stock inventory with quarterly reporting and frequent restock. Responsible for analyzing and ordering from extensive catalogs of consignment parts that may be needed prior to my on-site arrival. Proper return (tagging) of unused / core exchange parts.
