I was actively going in between the Rochester Hills office and the Battle Creek manufacturing plant where I worked across departments during the implementation of their ERP system PLEX. I was taught how to properly utilize this system and then worked around the manufacturing facility with different departments as well as floor managers to identify and solve issues in real time. My project of creating locations within their ERP system helped track inventories and processes that were causing decreased deficiency as well as increasing costs. Within this role I was also tasked with creating signs that were in more optimal locations for line workers which would reduce the human error of not entering information into the ERP system.
