Solutions-focused, team-oriented senior telecommunications regulatory, litigation, and labor and employment attorney.I am the lead attorney for Universal Service contributions and privacy regulatory matters at the Universal Service Administrative Company and have previously advised USAC's Schools and Libraries Division on telecommunications regulatory compliance with a focus on the E-rate Program. I'm a lead attorney in all privacy and cybersecurity matters, including Privacy Act, FISMA, and NIST requirements and compliance. I am also USAC's labor and employment expert and lead counsel on all labor and employment and litigation matters. Prior to joining USAC, I represented corporations and employers in commercial contract disputes, labor and employment matters, and labor regulatory compliance, and clerked for Commissioner Mignon Clyburn at the Federal Communications Commission.In private practice, I focused on:• Labor & Employment litigation, primarily management-side issues such as allegations of employment discrimination, and wage and hour claims;• Regulatory compliance;• Labor & Employment regulatory compliance;• Complex commercial litigation; and• Fair housing litigation and property management counseling.I am very active in the region’s community and business affairs. I was president and a founding member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Arlington County Bar Association, as well as being a member of several other local bar associations and chambers of commerce.
