Daily Responsibilities● Keep me all my guys and my jobsite OSHA complaint at all times● keep and maintain all my vehicles daily to comply with DOT safety regulations● Coordinated with inspectors from MDOT to do daily day and night work on the shoulder or closing lanes on all major highways and roads all over Michigan.● Run a crew of multiple guys completing sign work to MDOT standards and driving all types’ commercial vehicles.● Installed overhead signs on the highway like bridge connections, trusses and cantilevers but have knowledge in all types of permanent signing.● Have the ability to read most types of engineering prints, typicals and detail drawings and complete items quality and right the first time.● Daily use operating boom truck and bucket truck.● Daily submission of production and time for me and all my guys.● Coordinate with rental Crane Company when 80 and 90 ton crane needed.● Completing all work to specific specs under direct state supervision.● Coordinate with Michigan state police for various traffic situations.
