I have worked in primarily physical jobs, such as agriculture, construction, packing and shipping. I like to be doing physical work rather than sitting at a desk inputting data to a computer application. In my current position, I'm responsible for planning all aspects of shipping - the best size boxes for optimal cost and minimal risk of damage. I prepare all paperwork and work directly with shipping drivers. My work has included using fork-lift trucks to load pallets onto trucks. I am also responsible for organizing shipping boxes onto pallets, strapping them in place, and wrapping them. Virtually every shipment I have managed has arrived wherever it was going with no losses or damage. I like to think it has a lot to do with my attention to detail and planning.
