In this role, I performed multiple tasks including: • Assisting a civil engineer in the design of beams and other structural elements to meet client needs. • Participating in the design of drainage systems and the certification of house framing.• Assisting an engineer with site inspections relating to a range of different construction projects.• Communicating with clients, including during in-person meetings and by writing quotes, certifications, and technical reports under supervision of head engineer.• Organising and delegating daily jobs, ensuring deliverables are sent on time and updating files when milestones have been met.• I performed a bridge loading test with another engineer to ensure deflection was within acceptable criteria.
