This role requires me to demonstrate excellent customer service (customer engagement, problem solving skills, accommodations, etc.), supporting staff members during meal service, as well as working on back-end administrative work (report writing, logging, company emails, etc.). A supervisor often acts as a "bridge" between upper management and hourly staff, and continues to support both aspects of the restaurant. I also undertake this supervisor role at Lonely Mouth Bar, an elevated Japanese fine-dining restaurant. In addition to the same roles as above, I have learned the finer points of fine dining, creating an outstanding guest experience from start to finish, as well as doing event planning for both venues. I have also worked on product development and event marketing (off-site events) for both venues.At both Goro + Gun and Lonely Mouth Bar, I carry out this position in both English and Japanese.
