As a recently graduated student with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and an emphasis in Aerospace, I am passionate about utilizing my skills and knowledge to contribute to the field of engineering. Throughout my academic journey at BYU, I successfully managed a full-time course load while simultaneously engaging in various employment and extracurricular opportunities.With a diverse range of work experiences, I have developed a well-rounded skill set and a strong work ethic. As a Physics TA, I honed my communication and problem-solving skills by assisting students in understanding complex concepts. Additionally, my role as an Upholsterer allowed me to develop attention to detail and craftsmanship, ensuring high-quality work on each project.During my time as a Research Assistant and Drone Pilot in the MAGICC Lab, I gained hands-on experience in control systems and robotics. This role provided me with valuable insights into the practical application of my academic knowledge. Moreover, I acquired proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, ROS, and Julia, which allowed me to contribute effectively to various projects.Furthermore, my experiences as a Greenhouse Technician, Dance Instructor, and running my own Photography business have honed my interpersonal skills and strengthened my ability to work in diverse teams. These experiences have instilled in me a strong sense of adaptability, creativity, and perseverance.I am well-versed in prototyping, 3D printing, machining, CAD modeling, and ANSI standards. These technical skills, combined with my ability to think critically and solve problems, enable me to approach engineering challenges with confidence and efficiency.As I embark on the next phase of my career, I am eager to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of aerospace engineering.
