My two passions are engineering and flying. Ever since I was a kid, I have been fascinated by the mechanisms of which things work. Especially aircraft, I grew up in an aviation family and was taught how to fly and maintain aircraft. I am currently looking for jobs in the engineering field and would be ecstatic to find and opportunity that would combine my two passions.EDUCATIONUniversity of Rhode Island | Kingston RI, | Expected Graduation May 2024 | GPA 3.1/4.0Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering• NATIONAL SOCIETY OF LEADERSHIP AND SUCCESSRelated Courses: Engineering Materials, Applications of Mechanics in Design, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Analysis, CAD, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Control SystemsENGINEERING PROJECTS AND RESEARCH SeaWind 3000 | Experimental Amphibious Turbine Aircraft | Fall 2023 – Present• Inherited unfinished experimental aircraft powered by turbine PT-6, needs finishing• Read through all previous build logs and instructions• Devising plans and procedures to finish project in compliance with FAA standardsMicrofluidics and Micro Systems Lab | Fall 2023-Present | U.R.I. | https://web.uri.edu/mml/• Study effects of microplastics on human cells• Designed and prototyped molds for PDMS cell culturing bricks and ASME dog-bone test samples• Modified/redesigned and machined parts for constricting and contracting PDMS cell culturing bricksCAPSTONE | Under Water Deployment of UAV from UUV | Fall 2023 – Present• Ideated methods of deploying unmanned arial vehicle from underwater unmanned vehicle• Designed new methodology of deployment based on sponsors specifications• Prototyped and tested launch mechanism3D Printer | Summer 2023• Harvested parts from old 3D printer to design newer core XY style printer with larger print area, three-point bed leveling and future upgrade for dual extruders • Completely designed and assembled in SolidWorks with plans to use URI 3D printers to do final assemblyAmphibious RC Aircraft Iteration III | Summer 2022• Designed and prototyped three iterations of electric RC planes made from foam, hobby motors and servos • Created methods of thinning and shaping foam to achieve desired shapeLEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE Theta Chi Fraternity | URI |Executive Board Member | Scholarship Chair | 2022-2023• Manage and monitor members grades and scholarship and notified of upcoming scholarship opportunities• Collaborate with executive board to manage the inner operations of the fraternity • Provided career building workshops to members
