• Conducted research studying the hypothalamus in albino rats pertaining to recognition memory, which can be applied in addressing how humans are able to recall information

Connecticut College

• Facilitated roles of executive team and assisted the president for the coordination of the group’s community service, New London youth outreach, fundraising opportunities, campus banquets, retreats and conferences.
• Planned and hosted a 50+ person campus banquet and Thanksgiving program for students, the New London community, and Coast Guard Academy.
• Develop and facilitate group discussions of lessons and student activities.

Bone Marrow Transplant Department

• In the summer of 2013, I completed the Rush University Medical Center Internship Program. This internship provided an extensive orientation to hospital administration. within several areas of the hospital. Areas were.
• Created a Portfolio/ Instruction manual for the Bone Marrow Transplant Department, inclusive of detailing medical procedures such as stem cell transplant in both autologous and allogenic methods..
• Clinical Rounds with Bone Marrow Transplant Team - Observed all treatment procedures involved in stem cell transplant. (i.e. blood tests, injections, infusions and transfusions, and mobilization.) - Provided a friendly.
• Organized Bone Marrow Transplant patient's medical records and completed many administrative task to ensure proper categorization of department logistics. In each case, I followed protocol in accordance to HIPPA rules.
• Started a project with Dr. Henry Fung to complete a study on the diversity of their patients and how to appropriately accommodate them medically to ensure patent satisfaction.

• Worked in several departments of administration. Organized employee records in each department
• Worked in the college’s print shop as a receptionist and prepared print orders for the college.

• Worked in research group to develop a series of NXT programs for computer science research
• Designed and manipulated robots utilizing NXT software for practical life scenarios

• Participated in a 5 week intensive summer internship, with exposure to collegiate acclimated work/courses
• Developed and presented material to employees of food science companies a basic essential understanding of the food supply chain
• Shadowed senior level employees for Archer Daniels Midland, Oscar Mayer, and PepsiCo
