Amazon Music (2015-2018):- Worked on the development of the Amazon Music platform on Alexa, a Java backend service that fulfills voice requests for music on Amazon Alexa.- Collaborated with several Alexa voice teams and led the development of voice features such as "Play popular music in X country", "Play music I haven't heard in a while", explicit language filter and more.- Built all service pipelines to utilize full continuous deployment with full test coverage on unit tests, integration tests and Alexa end-to-end tests. Deployments of new code required no manual processes.- Contributed to Amazon Music's 3rd party REST API, a backend JavaScript service for integrating Amazon Music with 3rd party speakers such as Sonos, Bose and more. Amazon Fulfillment Technologes (2018-2021):- Worked on the delivery of the Visual Bin Inspection (VBI) project, a system that passively takes images of inventory in fulfillment centers and runs them through a neural network to predict defects in inventory.- Led the design and implementation of new systems in the suite of VBI edge device (Python/C++) applications responsible for taking captures and uploading to the cloud, cloud services for executing millions of ML predictions per day, and user facing websites for employees in over 50 warehouses and counting.
