 Overseeing the Technical Services team; coordinating activities and developing new programs and procedures. Coordination of small commercial solar projects, including system design and engineering reviews through to project close-out. Managing third party engineer relationships and coordinating work flow with them. Took on role of both Project Engineer, including all Project Management duties, to execute Conergy Canada’s EPC projects in 2013 and 2014. Including System design, working with subcontractors and liaising with clients and owners.

- Responsible for coordination of all aspects of post-sale microFIT projects, including OPA and LDC applications, structural engineering reviews, municipal permitting, and coordination of logistics for equipment delivery to site.- Worked with new and existing contractors to define costing and their scope of work, trained and advised them on the products being used, and coordinated installation schedules.- Produced system layout designs and single line diagrams.- Refined existing and developed new procedures and best practices for project management. Expanded internal technical support resources to support the project management and sales teams.

- Managed the solar technical support team within this electrical wholesale distribution company, supporting the various branches on solar related sales.- Established a product list for solar power materials suitable to the electrical contractor and solar installer market and helped develop a training program on these products.- Designed quoting tools and templates, and an Intranet resource site for the company.- Worked with Field Assessors to establish site estimating tools and guidelines.- Coordinated an extensive solar information display for the CNE. This included the design and build of a working off-grid portable solar array, assistance with marketing efforts, and the scheduling and training of a select staff of over 40 people.

- Performed lighting audits of small businesses to evaluate their efficiency and eligibility to participate in the program.- Transitioned into a supervisor role, providing supervision and technical support to a group of field representatives across Ontario.- Was part of the program management team that drove the overall program direction with continuous improvement initiatives.- Organized and directed electrical contractors who performed the lighting upgrades.

- Managed multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from small scale to $2 Million, respecting project budgets and adhering to customer delivery schedules.- Performed technical selection of components and processes to be used in the manufacturing of the Power Unit.- Coordinated project tasks between various departments, including Sales, Design, Purchasing and Manufacturing.- Undertook a project of establishing new product standards for design, manufacturing, and component procurement to meet the needs of a specific cost-driven Hydraulic Power Pack market. The result was a 40% reduction compared with standard system costs.- Helped develop the logic for a custom configurator program for the newly developed power packs.
