Responsibilities: Running AUD Interest Rate Swaps with two direct reports.Achievements: Increased the risk profile and P&L on the desk. The desk achieved significant increase in market participation and client transaction flow through more consistent price making and customer connection.

Responsibilities: Running the AUD IRS and CCS book for Westpac. Achievements: Increased the risk profile and P&L on the desk markedly. Increase customer penetration through increased contact and connections. Achieved significant revenue increase for the book and corporate and institutional sales desks.

Responsibilities: Proprietary trading and price making in AUD, NZD, USD, and CAD for Interest Rate Derivatives, Options and Foreign Exchange. Responsible for cultivating a client base for the desk by providing market colour, commentary and trade recommendations.Achievements: Significantly increase the risk, P&L, customer penetration and flow not only on the book but on the desk.

Responsibilities: Trading and price making in the short end of the yield curve in AUD and CCY including FX fwds. Trading and price making the whole yield curve in NZD, USD, EUR, and GBP. Achievements: Took a new business and immediately penetrated the market having success in creating sound revenues.

Responsibilities: Running the NZD, USD, CAD, GBP Interest Rate Options portfolios and backing up the AUD Interest Rate Options Portfolio. Developing new interest rate option products through financial modelling/structuring to satisfy customer’s needs. Working closely with the sales team to educate and produce products that would provide a benefit risk management solution.During this time at ANZ I also worked for periods on the AUD Swaps in Sydney and the NZD Swaps desk at NBNZ in Wellington, NZ.

During this period I worked at ANZ 3 days a week while completing my studies and full time in the holidays. My tasks included pricing vanilla interest rate swaps and options for the Sales Team.Responsibilities: Pricing and developing models that could price non-vanilla interest rate products such CMS, quanto swaps, digital options, path dependant options, and bermudans.
