At ID-ology, I was the lead programmer that made decisions for multiple projects. The project I was first hired for was to work on cattle traceability with the USDA. ID-ology was tasked to build software to read RFID Ultra High/Low Frequency tags and to store the data in a database. I also had to communicate with higher-ups in the IT and Electronics department with the harvest plants that contained our software for reading cattle. However, I did not just work on this USDA project, I also created new software to work with the RealTrace V8BT reader to read RFID Ultra High/Low Frequency chips used with domesticated animals. Other software I added new functionality for was with an application used for adding clinic phone numbers to the chips used with domesticated animals for the purpose of contacting lost animals. I added features that removed unnecessary steps with the process of adding phone numbers and putting that data into a database. Lastly, I made educated decisions and communicated with my boss regarding all the previous projects stated and also on future prospects for ID-ology.

My role as a Resident Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire was to maintain orderly living environment of my hall and to build community with my residents. All my residents were freshman in college, so it was also important to be a resource to them with campus information and with getting used to dorm life. Whether that be with helping them find the location of the meal hall, their classes, the career center/counselor, or by helping them settle roommate disagreements or issues.
